本校將於 11月29日（星期六） 舉辦「升中學習體驗日」，誠邀家長及學生參加。

是次活動內容豐富，旨在讓學生親身體驗中學學習生活，並為家長提供升學資訊。

當天亦會舉辦英語音樂劇表演及2場升中家長講座，有興趣之家長可由 11月1日（星期六）起透過網上表格：https://www.makopan.edu.hk/talk2025.html 報名參加。

「和平學校計劃」是由香港聯合國教科文組織協會全球和平中心（GPC）和扶輪社香港及澳門分會和平行動小組（RAGFP）合作發起的一項計劃，旨在幫助學校在互聯互通的世界中促進和諧。

本校在項目四個指定範疇：社區服務、可持續發展目標、聯合國國際日及文化和平動起來均達到要求，榮獲計劃認證為「和平學校」。

這認證彰顯了本校致力於向學生灌輸正面價值觀和態度的承諾，激勵學生透過可行的計畫共同創造更美好的世界。

今年學校繼續推動同學訂立個人目標，老師們都很欣賞同學的付出，學校於4月2日安排師生一起慶祝同學努力完成上學期學習及下學期統測、推動正向情感、鼓勵同學繼續努力，特別安排雪糕車到校。

This year's English Challenge took place successfully in the hall during lunchtime today, attracting over 200 students. Participants practiced their English skills outside the classroom and explored the cultures of seven countries: Brunei, Iran, France, Germany, Australia, and Venezuela. They engaged in various games and had the opportunity to interact with more than seven native English speakers from the Intercultural Education program.

於剛過於法國巴黎舉行的 iGEM Grand Jamboree 2024，本校七位修讀生物科的高中學生赴法國巴黎，參加「國際遺傳工程機器設計競賽（iGEM）2024」，並奪得金獎。

在2025年2月22日，本校七名學生出席了iGEM 2024頒獎典禮。是次典禮邀請了現任香港科技大學校長葉玉如教授作頒獎嘉賓，致辭時，葉教授以自己立志成為科學家的故事鼓勵在場的學生。頒獎儀式結束後，來自各校不同隊伍的學生互相分享及交流參賽經驗、回顧參賽過程中的一點一滴。

Junior students participated Personal financial management activity on 17 February 2025. They learned knowledge about financial management from different booths and they enjoyed a lot.

As part of the S.1 Reader’s Module in English Language, our junior form students experienced an interactive theatre of the story of MacBeth written by William Shakespeare on 28 Nov, 2024. Unlike traditional dramas with the ‘fourth wall’, students had the chance to take part in the play by interacting with the professional actors and actresses during the performance, making the experience more immersive and memorable. It was a great success that our students developed a deeper understanding of the story of ‘Macbeth’ by both reading and watching the story.
