School Motto:
Be the Salt and the Light of the Earth
Scriptural reference
From the New Testament, Book of Matthew chapter 5 verses 13-15: "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house."
The philosophy behind our School Motto
"Salt" has the power to cleanse and to add flavour to food. We hope that our students are upright by acting as “salt” to cleanse the society and to lead a decent way of life with noble character to bring about friendship and harmony in their community. When salt loses its saltiness, it becomes useless. Our students must devote themselves to serve the community, thus not to become useless. Also, a city on a hill is very prominent, so we should be bold and bear witness to the Lord.
